Trezevant Residents Celebrate with a Socially Distanced Easter

(Memphis, TN) – On Holy Saturday, Trezevant, a senior living community located at 177 North Highland, celebrated Easter by covering a cross made of magnolia leaves in flowers. Residents and their families gathered outside at Trezevant in Hope's Garden and adorned the cross with flowers from a variety of sources including resident gardens, the yards of resident families, or from a local florist or grocery. Residents were able to visit with their families and friends outdoors, as everyone remained masked and socially distanced. Trezevant residents and staff took turns placing flowers on the cross until it was fully decorated in honor of the holiday.

“This year’s Easter was especially meaningful to our residents and their families who are so very grateful to be able to see one another in person again,” said Libby King, Director of Marketing and Sales for Trezevant. “Decorating the cross together at a safe, social distance gave us all a glimpse of God’s love and grace in the center of our community.”
