Top 10 2016 Marketing Trends That Matter

As the new year grows closer, the marketplace will be flooded with 2016 marketing trend reports, though in reality many focus on fads, which by definition, have fleeting popularity. Fads are for gamblers. Marketing trends, on the other hand, are generally slower building, longer lasting and ideally a result of factual supporting data. As such, RedRover Sales & Marketing Strategy CEO, Lori Turner-Wilson, is predicting these 10 marketing trends worthy of consideration in your 2016 marketing strategy.

RedRover Sales & Marketing

Lori Turner-Wilson is CEO and founder of RedRover, a sales development and marketing firm. She works with companies large and small to help them improve the productivity of their sales force and the return on their marketing investment. In fact, RedRover is known for driving measurable results for its clients, which is one reason the firm was named by the Greater Memphis Chamber as one of the “Top 10 Companies to Watch” in 2014.

Before opening RedRover, Lori spent more than 15 years leading corporate sales, marketing and communications teams for Hampton Hotels, First Horizon National (or First Tennessee) and TCBY Enterprises. She is the recipient of numerous industry awards including Addy awards, Communicator awards, and a Telly. Lori has been recognized in the Memphis Business Journal’s “Top 40 Under 40” and as a finalist in their Executive of the Year competition for two years.

You may know her as the voice of the syndicated “Guerrilla Sales & Marketing” column – found in the Daily News and Nashville Ledger among other area publications. She has been internationally recognized for this column, earning a Summit International Award where she competed against thousands of other columnists from 22 countries. Lori was a contributing ghostwriter for the “Complete Idiot’s Guide to Guerilla Marketing” and has a new book coming out the first of next year called “WOOF – Why Ordinary Organizations Fail.”
