MEMPHIS, Tenn., January 22, 2018 – Paragon Bank (OTCBB: PGNN.OB) today announced the appointment of Steve Weaver as Senior Loan Officer. Weaver reports to Mike Edwards, President and Chief Operating Officer at Paragon Bank.

As Senior Loan Officer, Weaver is responsible for the origination and infiltration of commercial lending, private banking and real estate construction lending for the Memphis-based bank.
Weaver most recently served as Market President for a regional financial institution, having spearheaded the opening of its Memphis branch in 2013. Prior to that, Weaver served as a Senior Loan Officer at Commercial Bank and Trust in Memphis. He received a Bachelor of Business Administration, Banking and Finance and Master of Business Administration from Mississippi State University, and went on to attend the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Oklahoma.
