Trezevant Receives $500,000 Grant From The Mary Galloway Home Foundation

Trezevant, a senior living community located at 177 North Highland, announced it received a $500,000 grant from The Mary Galloway Home Foundation to support the assisted living expenses of residents.

“We are humbled and encouraged by this generous gift from The Mary Galloway Home Foundation,” says Kent Phillips, CEO of Trezevant. “Their support will enable us to continue to provide our residents with the highest level of care."

For more than 125 years, the Mary Galloway Home has provided residence, comfort and support for senior women with financial needs. In 2007, the Mary Galloway Home moved its location to the second floor of Trezevant Terrace. As of August 2021, The Mary Galloway Home has embarked on a new relationship with Trezevant in that it has become a grant writing foundation with the goal of issuing grants to those who can demonstrate the funds will be used in accordance with The Mary Galloway Home's mission of supporting retirement aged women or older, in the Mid-South area, with financial needs.

"We are pleased to provide this support to Trezevant and the many residents that they serve with dignity and compassion," says Cyndi Coury, president of the Mary Galloway Home board of directors. "We look forward to continuing to grow our relationship – all for the benefit of those we serve."
