Society for Information Management Memphis Announces 2021 Board of Directors

MEMPHIS, Tenn., January 25, 2021 – The Society for Information Management (SIM) Memphis Chapter, a not-for-profit organization of information technology experts, today announced its 2021 board of directors. The board is composed of 16 local IT professionals with extensive industry and leadership backgrounds.
 
I am excited to have such a talented and diverse team on our board this year, and we look forward to serving the SIM Memphis Chapter in providing insightful content in our monthly chapter meetings, as well as making it an enjoyable atmosphere for networking and collaboration” shared Peter Kim, President of Information Security at Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare and current SIM Memphis President. “Our purpose is to serve the Greater Memphis IT leaders and give back to the community in outreach programs such as Teen Tech Camp and STEM.”

The mission of SIM, for which the board is responsible in carrying out, is to increase the knowledge base of SIM members, develop effective IT leaders for today and tomorrow, serve as the voice for IT practitioners on critical issues, and give back to local communities.
