PAULA JACOBSON TO LEAD TREZEVANT FOUNDATION
(Memphis, TN) - Paula Jacobson has joined Trezevant as the senior living community’s Interim Executive Director of the Trezevant Foundation.
A career-long nonprofit leader, Paula previously served the Memphis community in various fundraising and leadership roles. Most recently she was President of the Methodist Healthcare Foundation, and prior positions include the Jewish Foundation of Memphis and Rhodes College. In addition, Paula’s civic service includes serving as Board Chair of Memphis Interfaith Association (MIFA), Board Chair of Girls on the Run Memphis, President of Temple Israel, and as a member of the Trezevant Foundation Board.
“A steward of the community, Paula has selflessly served the Trezevant Foundation as a Trustee since July 2019, learning about our organization and what it needs to succeed,” says Kent Phillips, CEO of Trezevant. “We are truly excited to further leverage her expertise to expand the Foundation’s reach so that we may continue to provide meaningful support to those we serve.”
Paula is equally as enthusiastic about her new role.
“Anyone who visits, lives or works at Trezevant knows just what a special place this is,” she says. “As a Trustee, I fell in love with the mission and feel fortunate to be a part of the community, helping to make sure that all of our residents receive high quality care in our innovative, supportive environment.”
The Trezevant Foundation provides support to residents, staff, and area nonprofits. Residents who can no longer meet the financial requirements are supported by foundation donations. Money from the foundation’s scholarship fund supports employees and staff to further their education and also enhances the function and activities of the Trezevant community. To achieve these goals, the foundation depends on continuing financial support from residents, families, and friends of Trezevant.
Located in the heart of Memphis at 177 North Highland, Trezevant is a continuing care retirement community offering independent living, assisted living, memory care, adult day services, and health and rehabilitation services. Trezevant consistently provides world-class service to current and future residents while continuing to be an anchor in the community.
