Eclectic Eye named America’s Finest Optical Retailer by INVISION
MEMPHIS, Tenn., July 31, 2019 – Eclectic Eye, a Memphis destination for optometry services and stylish eyewear needs, today announced it has won first place in the 2019 America’s Finest Optical Retailer contest by INVISION, a magazine for the American eyecare professional.
“We are incredibly honored to have been selected and recognized by INVISION,” said Robbie Johnson Weinberg, co-owner of Eclectic Eye. “It’s humbling to know that the efforts to grow and strengthen our footprint as the premier independent eyewear and optometry provider, while also giving back to and nurturing creativity in the community, have made their mark both in and out of Memphis. We share this award with our loyal customers and partners.”
Now in its sixth year, the annual contest highlights the best examples of independent eyewear retailers in the United States and Canada. INVISION judges stores on exterior appearances, interior appearance/design, store biography, marketing, web presence and overall individuality. Eclectic Eye is featured in a multi-page spread in the July/August issue of INVISION and on invisionmag.com.
“Every year, we feel privileged to bring our readers the best of independent optical retail in our industry,” said Deidre Carroll, editor-in-chief at INVISION. “Robbie and Michael’s commitment to helping revitalize Midtown Memphis by addressing an underserved community with a modern, vibrant and creative approach to delivering exceptional eyecare is the essence of what our America’s Finest contest stands for.”
