Hi-Speed Industrial Service recently added two new professionals to its growing team:
- Dave Rasmussen joined Hi-Speed Industrial Service as General Manager of its Millington, TN and Little Rock, AR locations. In his new role, he is responsible for overseeing operations, driving process improvement, and inspiring vision for Hi-Speed and its operations team members. Dave has more than 25 years of professional experience as an operations executive. Prior to joining Hi-Speed, he held multiple leadership positions at Ferrellgas including account manager, general manager and, ultimately, director of operations. A native Memphian, Dave graduated from Kingsbury High School. He attended both Rochester College (Rochester, MN) and State Technical Institute (Memphis, TN) and holds an A.S. in Mechanical Engineering. He went on to earn a B.S. in Business Administration from Warren National University (Agoura Hills, CA). - Ron Melton joined Hi-Speed Industrial Service as Operations Manager for its Millington, TN motor repair division. In this role, he is responsible for leading the company’s operational efficiency with an emphasis on positively impacting the team’s performance through workforce oversight and policy enforcement. Ron is responsible for the development and execution of Hi-Speed’s operational initiatives. In addition, he has a passion for employee development and coaching. An industry veteran, Ron has 40+ years of experience in electromechanical equipment service, repair and sales, the vast majority of which was spent with Flanders Electric. There, he held a variety of roles including motor mechanic, winder assistant, foreman, field service technician, field service supervisor, dragline coordinator, account manager, and, ultimately, operations manager. Ron has regularly participated in various technical certifications and trainings including Electrical Apparatus Service Association (EASA) courses on topics ranging from bearing issues to root cause failure analysis.
