– Harris Shelton Hanover Walsh, PLLC, one of Memphis’ largest law firms, is pleased to welcome attorney Charles Brasfield to the firm as Of Counsel.
Brasfield’s previous experience includes working as a partner and associate at two law firms in Covington, Tennessee, where his practice areas included personal injury, criminal defense, business litigation and family law. Brasfield has argued before the Court of Criminal Appeals and the Tennessee Supreme Court.
Brasfield holds a B.S. in finance with a concentration in international business from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where he was a member of Phi Gamma Delta Fraternity. He received his J.D. from the Mississippi College School of Law in Jackson, where he served as president of the Law Student Bar Association. While enrolled in law school, Brasfield interned with the Office of the Public Defender in Covington, Tennessee.
Brasfield is deeply involved in his community through a number of organizations. He’s a graduate and current member of the board of trustees for Leadership Collierville, a member and past president of the Tipton County Bar Association, and a member and past president of the Covington Lions Club. Brasfield also sits on the board of directors of both the Boys and Girls Club of the Hatchie River Region and Dyersburg State Community College Foundation.
