Rachel Rieves is an artist who lives and works in Memphis. Rieves has always had a passion for art and design, whether it be creating children’s clothing, sewing curtains or interior design. When her youngest daughter left for college, Rieves began painting. She is inspired by seeing colors interact and speak to one another.

“I am so grateful for my art and the gift it has been to me,” said Rieves. "It has blessed me in more ways than I could have ever dreamed."

Her “Immeasurably More” series showcases the landscapes of places Rieves has been that she describes as immeasurably more beautiful than she could have dreamed. The florals in the collection are painted from her experiences or ideas linking her imagination to creativity.

Eclectic Eye will be hosting a reception on Friday, September 22 from 6-8 p.m., where guests are welcome to mingle with Rieves and check out what’s on display.
