Memphis, Tenn., February 18, 2020 – Eclectic Eye, a Memphis destination for optometry services and eyewear needs, today announced its partnership with the nonprofit Justice and Kindness Everywhere Foundation during the Eclectic Eye Annual Sale.

“We are proud to partner with well-known Memphis chef and restauranteur Kelly English and his foundation, which helps feed the families of hospitality professionals and frontline workers,” said Lindy Faulkner, director of operations at Eclectic Eye. “Since its inception, the foundation has done a great job serving our unsheltered neighbors inside a restaurant setting, while also providing them with warm clothes and bedding, a haircut and a routine check-up from a medical professional. Now the foundation is moving to aid workers affected by the pandemic.”

Every year, during its annual sale, Eclectic Eye donates a portion of the proceeds to a local charity. This year, $5.00 from each frame sold during the sale will help local restaurants provide meals to out-of-work hospitality professionals. The donations will be distributed in the form of meal deliveries to food-insecure families and as tabs set up at local restaurants for curbside delivery.

“I was thrilled when the Eclectic Eye team reached out to me to partner on this project,” English said. “Our businesses have always been kindred in a small business, do-the-right-thing approach, and we support each other in patronage and friendship.”
