Dunavant Welcomes New CIO Michael Bartz

Dunavant Enterprises and Dunavant Global Logistics Group are proud to welcome Michael Bartz as Chief Information Officer.

Bartz will direct all information technology and initiatives as well as lead and manage client systems and business process integrations.

Dunavant III, Dunavant Enterprises President & CEO. “Michael will provide both strategic and tactical leadership for core transportation, business intelligence, and financial processing applications.” 

Bartz holds over 20 years of systems engineering, managed services and solutions experience. Prior to joining Dunavant, Bartz served as Vice President of Information Technology for ReTrans, a Kuehne+Nagel company. Bartz has also served as an adjunct professor to his alma mater University of Memphis, where he teaches courses in the department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering on various topics including software engineering (Agile with Python, Java, Ada), digital signal processing, machine learning, and artificial intelli­gence.
