On January 27, President Trump signed a controversial executive order which placed an immediate freeze on all entry for individuals from Syria, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Yemen, Iraq and Sudan for at least 90 days. Join Fisher Phillips partner David Jones as he presents a complimentary seminar on the workplace concerns regarding this immigration ban, as well as any upcoming executive orders planned by the Trump administration. Topics will include:
  • How the immigration ban will impact your business
  • Steps employers can take to protect affected workers
  • Potential expansion of the ban and other expected executive orders
  • Any additional immigration developments that arise prior to the seminar
Jones represents clients in complex matters relating to both immigration benefits and enforcement and in proceedings before the Department of Homeland Security, the Department of Labor, the Department of Justice and the Department of State, as well as in matters related to citizenship status discrimination and export control compliance under the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
