Local Firm Spearheads Charitable Giving Projects in Memphis –
IT Solutions Firm to provide 1,080 holiday dinners to Shelby County Schools families

MEMPHIS, TN (Oct. 27, 2017). Unistar-Sparco Computers, Inc. (Sparco) will host an event to put
together 135 holiday dinner baskets for families with children at Shelby County Schools on
Thursday, Nov. 2 from 4:00 to 9:00 PM at The Tower Center.

The event, entitled “Bring Your IT Back to Life,” is open to small business from across Memphis and
will offer them both the opportunity to learn about improving and streamlining technology in the
workplace as well as participate in Sparco’s charitable giving project for Schools within Shelby
County.

“In our seventh year doing this, we thought it would be valuable to include small businesses from
across our city in a combined effort of learning and giving,” said Soo-Tsong Lim, CEO and President
of Sparco.

Each dinner basket will provide food for up to eight people, including a coupon for a free full
turkey, to feed over 1,080 children and their families across the county. They will be delivered by
volunteer Sparco employees on the second Saturday of December.

Businesses will have the opportunity to hear from top industry names such as IBM and Lenovo, and
meet with others such as Lexmark, Barracuda, Black Box, Eaton, Infocus, and Veeam.

“The future of Memphis will rely on our youth, as well as the continued growth and sustainability
of our small businesses,” said Lim. “With this event, Sparco is looking to unify both the business
and community sectors and show their commitment to the continued growth of Memphis.”

For Lim, community involvement and charitable giving is not a one-off solution. Sparco’s commitment
to SCS has also stemmed back eight years, when they first adopted Egypt Elementary School.

At the event, Sparco will make a special announcement of a new charitable giving project that will
benefit the small business community in Memphis.

Sparco, a provider of IT solutions to corporations, small businesses, government, and educational
institutions worldwide, has served the Memphis community for nearly 15 years, employing over 40
people year-round.

Businesses can register for the free event at http://bit.ly/2i8WItn and are encouraged to bring up
to four personnel per business.
