LIFESIGNS RELOCATES TO NEW, STATE-OF-THE-ART FACILITY

(Memphis, TN) – Lifesigns recently moved from its previous location at 1714 West Massey Road to its new state-of-the-art facility at 1727 Kirby Parkway, Suite 100. Lifesigns, a provider of comprehensive physical exams, has approximately 50 employees and had been in its previous location for more than 26 years.

“Our new location has a spa-like atmosphere that also enables us to handle greater capacity while also enhancing the patient experience,” says Scott Pritchett, CFO of Lifesigns and HealthyHere.

Lifesigns had a record year last year, seeing approximately 10,500 patients. The healthcare provider’s new space will include a number of desirable upgrades.

“Our goal is to have patients be pleasantly surprised when they come here,” says Pritchett. “First and foremost, our patients will be treated to brand new medical equipment that is either specialist or hospital-grade throughout the location.  This includes upgraded GE x-ray, ultrasound, and stress testing machines, as well as a new 3D-tomo mammography machine from Hologic. In addition, our patients will be able to enjoy marble floors, quartz countertops, glass walls, a new espresso machine, and a lobby waterfall feature in the new facility.”

Lifesigns retained The Crump Firm as architects of the new 9,150-square-foot facility, designed to maximize space and increase the efficiency of patient flow.

“It’s a medical office, so we wanted to make the environment as healing as possible,” said Reese Hodges, COO of Lifesigns and HealthyHere. “We worked with The Crump Firm to design a space in which patient comfort, privacy and patient flow were optimized.”

The new space features private offices for patient intake, white noise for added privacy, and motion-activated lights for energy conservation.

In addition to its new physical space, Lifesigns is also launching pre-diabetes and weight loss management programs this summer in an effort to continue to provide holistic patient care. Lifesigns also has a fleet of mobile medical clinics called HealthyHere that deliver preventative and primary care to the worksite. With more than 50 corporate clients utilizing the service, HealthyHere just launched its fourth mobile unit serving Memphis and the surrounding area.

“Having a primary care relationship and getting an annual physical is key to identifying and treating health issues before they become more serious or life-threatening,” says Pritchett. “At Lifesigns, we continue to invest in our offerings, because we are committed to improving the health of those living in our local community.”
Providing annual physicals and greater access to healthcare can result in:

  • Increased participation in regular preventative, primary care and follow-up visits
  • Better prevention, early detection and management of chronic illness such as diabetes and hypertension
  • Decrease in overall expenditure on pharmaceuticals
  • Decreased number of catastrophic health events
  • Enhanced health and wellness
