The mission of the Strategy Series is to continue to serve the professional needs of our region's IT organizations, by providing a networking and knowledge sharing event for our local community of IT leaders and practitioners, and to recognize the many types of work being done across Tennessee. In addition, the Strategy Series has funded nearly $500,000 in community outreach, $43,000 in 2015 alone.
Proceeds fund community outreach programs which impact over 500 students every year:
• STEM grants totaling $6,000
• Career Technology Day at the University of Memphis
• Career Panels and Job Shadowing at local schools
• Build a Computer at Hutchison School
• STEM Girls Get IT
• Teen Technology Camps at the Memphis Public Library and Hutchison School
• Participation by its members in the MILE - Memphis Institute for Leadership Education program
• Gary Lasko Annual Memorial Endowed Scholarship Fund at University of Memphis
• James Robinson Memorial Endowed Scholarship Fund at LeMoyne-Owen College
