Event Description:
MLK DAY OF SERVICE PROJECT
This MLK Day of Service Project will include working alongside volunteers with Jacob's Ladder, the Community Development organization for the Beltline neighborhood. They work year round to revitalize this inner city neighborhood by tackling a variety of issues including blight. Our project on January 15th will include removing small pieces of rubble and planting seeds to grow grass in an area that used to contain old buildings that have recently been torn down.
Join us as part of a national day where Americans of every age and background celebrate Dr. King through service projects that strengthen communities, empower individuals, bridge barriers and create solutions. Friends, family and coworkers are welcome!
