Join us to hear the story and process of the MEPPI Memphis facility, which is their first manufacturing facility of power transformers outside of Japan. With this facility, they invested $236 million and created 300 new jobs. More about this project:

Speaker bio:
Michael C. Dalton is a 35-year industrial operations specialist with over 20 years' experience as a Plant Manager and Director of Operations. Mike's experience spans multiple industries including commercial and architectural lighting, large commercial air conditioning equipment, high voltage electric utility distribution and transmission products, medical device manufacturing and high volume consumer retail products.
He joined MEPPI in 2011 as Operations Manager for its new transformer plant in Memphis. His responsibilities in this role have included the transfer of manufacturing technology from Japan, new plant construction and equipment installation, supply chain development, staffing, training, organizational development and on-going operations management.
Mike received his B.S. degree in Industrial Engineering and Operation Research from Virginia Tech and is a licensed professional engineer.
