Leadership Memphis Announces 11th Annual Multicultural Breakfast Friday, November 2

The annual community-wide event features a panel of five distinguished guests to discuss the ROI of Diversity in the workplace as well as networking opportunities

MEMPHIS, Tenn., September 25, 2018 - Leadership Memphis will host the 11th annual Multicultural Breakfast event Friday, November 2, 2018, at Holiday Inn, University of Memphis, 3700 Central Avenue. Presented by FedEx and International Paper, the Multicultural Breakfast is open to the public. Tickets are $50 per person or $500 per table of 10 and can be purchased here: https://leadershipmemphis.org/Events.

The theme of this year’s breakfast is the “ROI of Diversity” and will engage a moderated panel of Memphis area CEOs to explore why and how the bottom line of investing in diversity is a win-win situation for corporations, their employees, and the community. Registration, networking and breakfast buffet begin at 7:00 a.m., with the program starting at 8:00 a.m. and concluding at 9:30 a.m.

“The foundational concept of this year’s event is easy to grasp, and our expert panel will provide insightful context,” said David Williams, Leadership Memphis President/CEO. “Organizations that employ a wide variety of people typically are more productive and perform better than organizations that do not. Implementing effective measures and evaluation processes that determine the potential ROI of diversity and inclusion management can provide an organization with invaluable information to support key business imperatives, improve talent recruitment and retention, and impact company brand and reputation.”
