Event Description:
Chamber 101 gives members and non-members alike an opportunity for an inside view of the Chamber. You will gain valuable knowledge about the Chamber, network at a high level, meet Chamber leadership and participate in interactive demonstrations of membership benefits.
You will come away from Chamber 101 with a clear understanding of the Chamber’s mission and role in our community, giving you the opportunity to develop a better relationship with Chamber staff and take full advantage of your membership.
Tour Agenda:
4:00 pm: Check-in4:25 pm: Welcome by Chamber President & CEO, Phil Trenary; attendees will be divided up into groups and assigned a “tour guide” (Chamber staff member).
4:30 pm-5:30 pm: The tour will take you to these departments:
-President’s Office: Meet the President and Chairman’s Circle Overview
-Economic Development: Research, Recruitment, International Business
-Community Development: Public Policy, Workforce Development
-Membership & Communications: How to Make the Most of Your Membership
-The Consortium MMT (Memphis Music Town): Meet Grammy-winner David Porter
5:30-6:00 pm: Reception with Chamber staff and attendees.
