EVENT DETAILS: Join us online for this year’s Agape Heartlight event presented by BluSky Restoration. This year's virtual event is themed "We are a Movement" and will be a celebration of Agape's 50th anniversary of serving children and families right here in Memphis. The evening will include performances by Kirk Franklin, Drew & Ellie Holcomb, and CeCe Winans. The event will also feature guest speaker Dr. John Perkins, minister, civil rights activist, Bible teacher, best-selling author, philosopher, community developer, and the founder of the
Christian Community Development Association. In addition, guests will hear from Agape leadership and supporters about the important work Agape is doing to bring healing, support and love to local children and families. The evening will include a silent auction featuring a wide variety of packages, goods and services from local retailers and venues. Funds raised will help bridge the digital divide and provide emergency services and supplies for families served.
Additionally, on the following evening (Saturday, November 7) the Mighty Lights on the two downtown Memphis bridges will be lit up red, gray and gold in celebration of Agape’s golden anniversary.

ABOUT AGAPE: Agape Child & Family Services breaks down barriers for families in hard places so they can build the life they desire and deserve. Agape does this in partnership by listening and providing the connections, skills and encouragement families seek in order to thrive. Agape is a faith-based, non-profit organization dedicated to providing children and families in Memphis with healthy homes. Agape serves thousands of local children and families each year in an effort to keep them safe, smart and successful by providing services in under-resourced communities. Services include early childhood programs; school-based initiatives; workforce readiness; homeless services; counseling; adoption and foster care. In partnership with the Tennessee Department of Human Services, Agape and its community partners have expanded services via a two-generation model, wholly serving youth and parents in a poverty-reduction strategy, providing support, permanency, and sustainability in Frayser, Hickory Hill and Whitehaven.
